UNIFEM is proud to present the launch of the documentary and publication Diamonds: Stories of Women from the Asia Pacific Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS at the 9th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP).

The launch will be part of the symposium "Empowerment and Positive Women's Leadership in the Asia-Pacific," co-organized by UNIFEM, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and the Asia Pacific Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (APN+).

About Diamonds

Diamonds is a publication and documentary, funded by UNIFEM, on the personal narratives of ten women and one girl who are HIV-positive. They have overcome enormous challenges to become leaders in their communities. The stories within Diamonds are honest and passionate, providing a deep insight into the personal struggles and victories of women and girls living with HIV.
