The stories compiled in this book represent the extraordinary efforts that create the vast energy for change. It presents lessons and good practices that can be used as a knowledge tool, to be used worldwide.
The report is organized in three broad chapters, each reflecting a focus area in previously implemented projects: building community commitment, forging partnerships with police and judiciary and developing public and institutional support through research and advocacy. Within each chapter are case studies, which provide an overview, description and analysis of the project. In the conclusion of each chapter, insightful knowledge from specific strategies is provided.
"With an End in Sight" tells of the successful, as well as the unsuccessful, stories to provide knowledge, insight and hope of how violence against women can be eliminated with combined effort, compelling advocacy, and wide-reaching education.
