Human Rights
All UNIFEM programmes support women’s human rights, because women suffer from the denial of these rights around the world. With women in every region turning to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) as a human rights tool, UNIFEM works with women’s groups and governments to map shortfalls in national implementation of the treaty, and put in place laws and policies to uphold it. read more lea más et aussi
