Timor-Leste | 2007-11-26 – 2008-01-26 | 8:00 – 21:00
Hapara Vioolensia Kontra Feto (Stop Violence against Women). UNIFEM will launch a multi-media campaign on 26 November to capitalize on the commitment of Timor-Leste's leaders to end violence against women. Eleven of Timor-Leste's foremost public figures will share their positions and sentiments on violence against women with the nation, in a campaign that will reach all thirteen districts of the country. A series of posters, radio and television public service announcements have been developed in an effort to heighten public focus, awareness and government response in the country on violence against women.
