Next?
UNIFEM, the International Women’s Tribune
Center and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom are
moderating an e-mail discussion titled "Security Council Resolution
1325—What's
Next?" throughout February and March to share information, gather
ideas, coordinate strategies, and anticipate what might be achieved in 2004.
The e-discussion
is aimed at activists, academics, government delegates and UN staff — women

Panel presentation and discussion on women and peace processes. The Council
of Europe will make a presentation of conclusions and recommendations from
the 5th European Ministerial Conference on "Democratisation, Conflict
Prevention and Peacebuilding: The Perspective and the Roles of Women.”
The National Democratic Institute (NDI) will present its Global Action Plan
on women’s equal participation in government, focusing on post-conflict
transitional governments. Women Waging Peace will present a case study on Colombia.
