Micro-finance

While several micro-finance institutions currently operate in Afghanistan, a high demand for women's increased involvement remains. The CEED programme has provided small grants to Afghan NGOs who in turn deliver micro-credit opportunities to women. more »

Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Centers

UNIFEM has also provided financial support to NGOs in the establishment of six community-based Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Centers.
